I have all my backups, uploaded the new files from the download, except for settings.php and config.php, which are the versions from my old install. Wasn't using any plugins that needed to be deactivated, so I'm clear in that regard.

I go to /install/upgrade.php and get this error:

I have 1.4.3 running on a different site on the same server, so I'm quite sure it's not a server issue.

Any thoughts?

Make certain there are no 1.2 files left apart from settings.php and config.php and that you have all the 1.4.4 files.

Did a clean install to make sure all the 1.2 files were definitely not there -- apparently there was something that didn't get overwritten in the first try -- it is working now. Thank you!
