I created this new site for strickly entertainment. It just opend and I just added a gold membership plan for members interesting on haveing a good time. Monthly pay of course, but well worth it. Anyway, it needs members, looking for 1 global moderator. Just opend up, its all new, an you know what some people say:
"If you build it they will come." To me its more like, "if you build it, they will finnish it."
All though its STILL building up, I need to add CSS for the home page and soon after add video tube for members to add videos or blogs. The forum is just ganna be the base for community most likely.

are you seriously trying to get away with charging $3 a month for stuff most forums give away for free, especially when your forum is completely new and completely dead
i feel embarrassed for you
not only that, you admit yourself that you are expecting people to just join your website and make it better for you. although, awesome, if i sign up now i'll get the same features that everyone at my board of almost 800 members gets for free instead of having to pay $3 a month! wow!
this is pure greed and it's honestly really, really pathetic. i know we're not supposed to be sarcastic or rude here but by trying to get away with something like this, you've opened yourself up to scrutiny.

Anyway, you could change the logo maybe

When your forum has
three members you don't get to ask for three dollars a month for stuff like this. I'm not going to feel bad for giving a site with such hilariously bad concepts a harsh review. Frankly he should be giving anyone who donates at this point all of this stuff permanently. Also, what is the point of this "VIP Forum" exactly? What advantages does it have over a regular forum? I mean, "post whatever I want"? There's plenty of forums out there for free that are far more active that I could join to get such a great advantage!
What exactly is "billing support", anyway? Also, what good is unlimited attachments and private messages when there are no topics or members!? This site assigns arbitrarily high value to something that is relatively worthless. To put things into perspective, a yearly subscription at MyBB Central -- which has actual benefits -- is $5
a year.

This is a list of every Showcase thread I have posted in. Have you really gone through all of these and concluded that I never leave positive comments?
Whenever anyone leaves negative comments here, no matter how honest they are, someone always seems to feel the need to white knight the OP. Really, if you're posting your forum here you should be expecting critique, and outright criticism isn't as inherently evil as some of you make it out to be. If you're embarking on a project like this, you need thick skin. If you can't listen to criticism you're dead before you start.
Also, if you have any legitimate critique about my website, please feel free to post it in my Showcase thread, and I will at least read it and consider it. However, most of my users appear to be very happy with the board and our growth is quite strong, so I think I'm doing pretty well.
JohnMac, you need to chill out, this forum is here for folks to post their websites/forums, and for others to comment on them. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, it's not for you to criticize what someone else is posting, if you don't like what you see/read hit the back button and move on!

Bey Brad you should also re-read.. In all the time I have been here i have only ever seen you comment something good when a MyBB staff member has put a good comment above you... When there hasn't been, you leave a negative comment.. Just something I have noticed while I have been here.
Maybe 1 or 2, but really... I always try to give good feedback on something.

Maybe it's because staff are more inclined to give comments on good projects than say something negative? Perhaps they subscribe to, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." I do not.
It's nothing more than a coincidence; outside of breaking rules, I don't really care how the staff feels about my comments.
Anyway, unlike you, I actually left detailed and relevant comments about the website. Despite them being negative, I think that makes my post far more productive than yours (which mostly consisted of personal attacks and offering flimsy excuses as to why the $3 monthly fee is justified).
