I need something that will show to members who login, but only on the home page.

Something at the top with the latest news etc,,

This shouldnt display on every page, just the index page when a user logs in. I got sent to a post before that gave me step step instructions, i didnt need to download anything, it was just editing code, i forgot the page where i found it?

When a member logs in, they see a message on the home page.
