Is there a way I could get the code for the old vertical postbit?
I really don't like the horizontal version.

That wasn't it, I changed it nothing happened, but I just copied the code from postbit_classic and replaced the postbit code with it.
Also change: User CP > User Options, so that "Show posts in Horizontal mode?" isn't ticked.
Dont you need to use the query that Matt showed us?
