Is there a specific format that the task file has to be in. I noticed that everything is wrapped in a function but is that really needed or can i just have everything out in the open?
Links to specific formatting guidelines would be cool if you have any.

It should be taskname.php.
.... yes i understand that but its not being triggered properly and I dont understand why. I have it set to trigger every minute so i know it should be being triggered
They're only triggered if someone is online.

Unless it's a task like MySQL backup, pruning, etc.
I'm quite sure even the backup is triggered in the same way, it never runs at exactly the time I specify.

Yeah, it's not. But I didn't log in to my forums for like a month and there was still 4-6 backups done.
Nvm i got this working it wound up being a php error on my part.
