I'm working on a customization of the MyBB forum and found a bug in the postflood control mechanism. It's not working, though it's enabled.

I searched through the code and found a solution, the problem was that the application wasn't saving the last post timestamp.

... The post flood control works just fine on the forums I've been on, and it works here too. Care to explain a little further - can you post some of that code/solution you found?

If you're testing this on an admin account, note that admins have an override for the flood settings, so you will not experience the "you must wait" timeout.
