I have just installed my first forums software. (myBB1.4.4)

Whenever I try to change some settings in admin console it directs me to login screen. Once login again, if try change and click save, it redirects me again.

Pardon me, if it is simple configuration issue, but I am very new to this.

Appreciate your help.

I have tried changing as suggested but didnt work.

I am currently testing this on my desktop and name of the desktop is add-d102600.

So i gave the details as below.

$settings['cookiedomain'] = ".add-d102600/mynextjob";
$settings['cookiepath'] = "/forums/";


mynextjob is a cms project underw which i installed forums.

What could be wrong here?

Is mynextjob on a .com site? Or is it on localhost right now?

Yes it localhost. I have given machine name instead of localhost.

Ah, alright. I figured that might have been it, but it can't be if you named it after the site.

Make your cookie domain blank. Clear your browser cookies and try again
