Hi all,
I am trying to implement the RSS plugin
http://mods.mybboard.net/view/rss-to-post to my forum. Now I already uploaded the files but can not seem to initiate them through the plug-in manager. Actually, I am not even sure if I am in the right area to initiate it since I do not see it.
Also, I know I should have probably asked this before, will this plug enable me to place RSS feeds of news (like cnn, bbc, etc.) on my forum?
I have attached a screenshot, I would appreciate it if you could confirm if I am in the right area to initiate this plugin, if not please point me toward the light

Yes, you're in the right area. Did you upload the plugin file(s) to inc/plugins/?
Hm. Is it compatible with whatever version of MyBB you're using?

Yes, it was made for version 1.4.
Maybe I should post this question on Dennis's page since he developed this anyway?

I am also having trouble activating the 'Akismet version 1.2.1'. The directions were a bit vague since it does not state specifically where to the put the files, see:

Nevertheless, I uploaded the contents and could not figure out how to activate it - I could not see the actual plugin - am I supposed to see it?

If you mean the Akismet plugin, then yes - you should be able to see it. To activate it, just click "Activate"
