Hi all,

Recently I attempted to add to plugins:

1. Rss plugin - http://mods.mybboard.net/view/rss-to-post

2. http://mods.mybboard.net/view/akismet-(spam-protection)

Despite following the instructions, I could not get them to work. I have confirmed that the files are in the appropriate locations, however, I can not get them to activate. For instance, spam protection plugin (1.2.1) remains red in the update section. What are some things I can do/check to get these running? I'd like to be able to get this done once and for all.

Yes. i just redid the install on the Akismet, and still no go. Actually, I uninstalled it before uploading them then I reactived/installed it once they were uploaded.

I placed all the files for the Akismet plugin here: inc > plugin

I also I did input the Wordpress ASKI keys.

What else could it be?
