Hi we have been using mybb 1.4 as the forum for our main site for a while now and everything has been going great up until a few days ago unfortunately we needed to move to a new server and this has caused no end of problems.

First of all there were lots of errors showing and we managed to fix this with a fixed class_parser.php found on these forums but the problem is now when anyone tries to make a new thread mybb redirects to our main site index page and doesnt make the post.
Secondly when replying to a thread the latest threads display on the right handside of mybb index doesnt get updated and the user making the reply doesnt get notified the they have made a new reply.

Could this be a server side issue ? or a simple mistake made when transfering files to new server i have chmodded the correct files and folders.

Should i have run the installer again on the new server and imported the sql for the backed up posts and userbase? Would a reinstall via the installer fix this problem ?

Sorry for so many questions but i am stuck on what to do. Any help is greatfully appreciated.

If you reinstall, you'll lose your data as the installer creates new empty tables, that's the point of it.

Can you provide a test account??
yep no problem username: test pass: inferno

This isn't even a MyBB file...
No, after posting, I get sent to http://super-ip.co.uk/login.php which isn't a MyBB file, so you've set something up to go there...
yeah thats my problem when the forums were on old server it worked fine but after i moved to a new server it didnt i have not changed any files or links its exactly the same
Well that isn't our file, ergo you have to have added that yourself, so you'll just have to undo whatever it is you did. Maybe it's a host file... not sure what we can do though.
Heh, this one stumped me for a while:

<center><a href="http://super-ip.co.uk">Main Site</center>

Your <a> tag isn't closed...
maybe i havent made myself clear off the server i have 2 sites running the forums are the backend of the main site the login.php has nothing to do with the forums tehy are 2 totally different sites so when you visit the main url you go to login.php and login to use main site there is a link inside the site which takes you to the forums when it was setup before it used to post the thread then redirect you back to the main thread as normal but now it redirects to our main site this is the bit that is getting me as it shouldnt be.
if you take a look at the link for the post new thread button its pointing to my main site i sthere a way to edit the path of that button to where it should be pointing?
