Last weekend I made a move from 1.2.13 to 1.4.14. It went fine except for few glitches that were resolved promptly. Thanks to the excellent support from MyBB forum staff.

Today while trying to create a post I saw that the menu bar above the post that contains options for formatting, linking, quoting etc is missing. Only option I can see is of inserting similes.

Please let me know how can I fix this? OR Am I missing something?
i dont get what you mean, what menu bar are you talking about?
Upload the entire ./jscripts/ directory from the 1.4.4 package you downloaded (or from http://mybboard.net/downloads/ ) to your server/host.

You haven't uploaded the necessary files for the formatting bar.
@indigored: Please find the screenshot attached for the menu bar I am talking about. (Marked in red.)

@Tom.M: Thanks. I tried that but the same problem persist.
Make sure it's turned on in your UserCP options.
Hey MattR, Nice to see you again Smile

Inside UserCP > Edit Options , "Show the MyCode formatting options on the posting pages" is already checked.
Are you using a custom theme or the MyBB default?
@Gordie: It's a MyBB default theme.
Can someone please help? Things have really gone wrong after upgrade...

now today I found that http://www.learnqtp.com/forums/sample-qu...-1209.html link is giving some MyBB SQL error... (just go to this URL you will find the exact error)

Is it possible to redo this installation? or what do you people suggest?
That's probably caused by the SEO plugin you have.

About the editor, you're saying templates are default, it's turned on in your settings, turned on in the ACP, you have the files, you've tried it in other browsers, and still no??
