I just tried vBulletin and it's so not easy to manage. The installation require us to edit the files ourselves, which we can easily make in MyBB by just completing the fields. Oh and I personally hate vBulletin's ACP.. so unclean and that big menu. Not to mention that it's hard to manage. Mainly because I'm used to MyBB.. but I really don't like it. I prefer MyBB 100 times more.
But yeah, I have to say that vBulletin's appearance is great.. the profiles, the drop-down thingies and all that... but NOT THE ACP. Hard to manage and unclean.
Not to mention SMF and phpBB which really suck. Each of these software have nice functions, but MyBB pwnz them all.
MyBB is clean, the easiest to manage & understand and not to forget that it is free. And of course, the great support and fan sites.
I hope that MyBB never stop being developed.
