I really like this program. I installed it from fantastico. After I istalled it I was redirected to a totally different page. None of the pages on my site would load. In the file manager the mybb folder gone. I deleted the database and my pages worked again. Any clues why this happened and what to do before trying to install it again?

Take it up with fantastico, it isn't set up in the way usual hosts are, there's obviously an error with their script, not really much anyone here is going to be able to say.

I got it firgured out. I had to use the long path to MySQL server instead of localhost. I also had to set permissions.
