i'm using mybb and i think it's fantastic but there is not large community about this and there is not really good-looking themes.

anyway....

i'm trying to found the way to write mathematical equations into a post.

Is there any solution or plugin?

Can't you just add them in quotes or "code"?

I remember there was a plug-in for 1.2 that used TeX notation and an external CGI script to make a graphical file with equation. I'll check my archives.

Update: The CGI is called mathTeX. If you manage to install it to your server, the rest is simple. Justa add myCode:

• Regular expression: [tex](.*?)[/tex]
  
• Replacement expression: <img src="/cgi-bin/mathtex.cgi?$1" alt="" border=0>
