I need help with the portal!

The announcement is what i want . How do i do that?
And i have read http://wiki.mybboard.net/index.php/Portal but that didn't help!

Just set a forum to pull announcements from in the portal settings.....

Where are the portal settings?

ACP > Configuration > Portal Settings. Enter the ID of the forum that you want announcements to be shown from.
