Hey guys,i was wondering is it possible to set up a portal for mybb?

Unless you mean a CMS of some sort.
What i mean is i want it to be the default page users go to when they get to the site.
seemed to work,then i looked up in mozilla and it just goes to the regular forums
Probably due to how it tells if you've already visited, then.
Renaming index.php to forum.php, and portal.php to index.php seems to work, too.
works great for that,but now how do i get it to show the updates and announcements posts?
In the portal settings in the ACP.

edit a few templates
depending on the theme your using. Mine are usually in the header_welcome_member template
just add a link to it from there
