You need it in inc/plugins

Has to be in ./inc/plugins/.... and it needs to be active. I assumed it already was active when the original problem occured.

Got it in plugins folder and it is active... still same problem.

Update: Totally cleaned out MyBB installation and reinstalled with 1.4.4 and used the merge tool for 1.4.4 and it worked like a charm, all is well now.
