Has there been a change in the conditions associated with the use of myBB? I read over the license of the latest revs and I do not recall seeing the part that states that the footer links MUST remain intact. Please clarify. Thanks!
It has changed and you can now remove the copyright from the footer but you won't get support here if you do.
Please note, this is only with 1.4.2 and above. Previous versions still abide by the MyBB Licence.

Hi,

Thanks for the prompt response. I have no plans (or even see much benefit) to remove the links. However, I have recently seen a number of myBB forums that do not have the links in place which prompted me to re-read the license. Cheers!

It's more than 1.4.4 and above:

Bah! Time defeats me again...

Although there is a way to check if the software is MyBB, there isn't any way (at least, not that I know of) that checks the version number if it isn't displayed...

Either way, they won't receive any support if the copyright isn't in place.
