I am wondering if there is a way to transfer all the forums that I made on my old forum - to a new installation? Nothing else, just all the forums that I have made.
I think there was a way on 1.2 not sure about 1.4
Make a backup of your old forum then install the new forum, Then using phpmyadmin or something similar import the backup to the database your new forum is using.
All you need to do is install the new forum and copy any relevant tables (replace new tables) to new forum.
What I always say when people only want to save certain things is to copy everything across and delete what they don't want via the ACP after. If you only copy across certain tables you may miss an important one.
