Is there a way to undelete a post if it was just recently deleted? Apparently someone signed up for my forums during the middle of the night, posted something nasty and one of my Mods deleted it without notifying me. I want to see what the post said so I can take the appropriate actions on banning him. Thanks in advance.
No, as by definition, it's deleted, deleted from the database. If you want to keep deleted posts, there's a trash forum plugin that moves posts there when deleted but this particular post is gone. Your only real hope would be viewing the page through Google cache or something, hope that the page was indexed and the cached versions till has that post.
Cool. I will do that. Google is always crawling my site so there is a decent chance it was cached.
Nope, didn't work. My latests cache from Google was 02/10/2009 and the ones from Yahoo and MSN are older than that.
