after upgrade i am facing this error on main page when logged in , for visitors there is no error

MyBB SQL Error

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
    2006 - MySQL server has gone away
Query:
    UPDATE mybb_users SET lastvisit='1228524985', lastactive='1235791198' , lastip='219.64.164.188', longlastip='-616520516' WHERE uid='6' 

Plz help me
