I know that dhtml menus are do able as I am using the vbul style skin that has the drop down menus for search and quick links. I really like the feature on vbulletin when you click somones user name in a post it has a drop down menu to display everything except the quote button.

Personally I think the current system is quicker. I don't need to click two times to go to the user's profile Wink
