I've been getting my site validated today by W3, and the search page kicked up a fuss, as there is a '&' in some of the forums in the options.

It doesn't happen on the index or anything, just when it's in an option box. Unless this is a limitation, I think this should be amended for people wanting a clean validation on all pages.

I'm pretty sure we did this at one point but it caused more problems then it was worth. I really don't think an ampersand is going to get in the way of a browser rendering a page properly.
