I would like to amend the wording of the report post box, i.e. the box to be filled in when someone reports a post, as I would like to allow more reasons for reporting than the ones given (by default only allows reports for spam, advertising, abuse).
You need to edit the language pack for your forum. In the ACP, go to "Language Packs" => "Manage" on the left, and edit the language pack you're using.
You need to edit report.lang.php, and the option you're looking for is "only_report". Change this to your liking
You should also consider upgrading to 1.4...
