I mean when a mouse arrow came over to a subforum on index, its bacground colour changes,
I edited the global.css as you edited but it NOT worked, my subforums are still as same as in default theme looks .

Try CTRL+F5'ing..

Columns:
Forum,Threads,Posts and Last post

bcoz on hover only the small part highlights which appears odd

So you want it to also highlight the forums, threads, etc. 'columns' when you hover over them?

Simple, just change td:hover to th:hover.
