I think a preview feature (and BBcode buttons/emoticon chooser) for signatures in the User CP would be a good idea. Right now I see only the text box :p

I agree. BBCODE for sigs in usercp would be excellent.
i think that WDZ added the preview feature to the msgplus forums, but many of the things that he developes over that my makes just for that forum. since we know its possible maybe it might be added, with the help of DZ, or one of the modifyers could have a go at it. if i have the time tomarrow and remember i might take a stab.
I would enjoy seeing it as a standar feature in the software rather than a mod myself. I can easily code it for it as a mod myself as a few could I imagine.

I've implemented your suggestion along with the feature martin mentioned allowing you to quickly manage the signature preferences for all of your posts.
