Hey guys, quick question. Is there a plugin or a way to bring up a user profile with a url that would look like:
http://forum.mydomain.com/USER
I'm trying to build a community based on MyBB, and would like to have the user profile pages show up after they type in their name in the url. Any suggestions?
Also, is there a way to make the profile page use a completely different template and look different from the forum?
Thoughts, suggestions are appreciated.

My Google SEO plugin gives you
http://forum.mydomain.com/User-GMAnton by default (same for threads forums etc, you can turn them on or off separately if you want it only for users). USER alone wouldn't work because you have to differentiate somehow between
http://forum.mydomain.com/showthread.php and a User who names himself showthread.php (or any other name that happens to be identical with a php file or directory name under the MyBB tree).
You can change the template any way you want, but I think there are also plugins for the design part of the profile.

I worked hard on it, and I'm not even finished yet.
But as for the templates, I could either do them for you or link you to some tutorials that will certainly help you edit them. Take your pick

I did solve my template question by looking into the template files, so I'll work off those. I'm doing a very heavy mybb theme modification with custom profile pages, custom sign up form, etc. Once I'm done, I'll showcase it here. Thanks again.
