Will something similar be added? I would find it very useful and timesaving.

Will the bug be fixed?

Announcement deletion works fine for me in the latest code.

And we'll be looking into adding features in the next release after Gold.

I tested it with Opera 8.5 and the actual download of MyBB PR2. I retested it:
1. clean new installation of MyBB
2. clicked on Forum Announcements
3. My Forum [add announcement] => added announcement => redirected
4. My Category [add announcement] => added announcement => after confimation message redirected, but same screen as in 3. e.g. announcement not created
5. Global Announcements [add announcement] => added announcement => after confimation message redirected, but same screen as in 3. e.g. announcement not created
6. Refreshed whole ACP and realized that the announcement from My Forum got created and got moved to My Category. The announcement in Global Announcements got created correctly.

Hm, then moving to Included Suggestions / Feedback might be a good idea.

I didn't say I'd include this suggestion for the release after, but I am just saying that in general we will look at the suggestions on this board more closely and decide which ones to include after 1.0 is released.
