Decided to open a footy tipping contest on my forum.
$100 Aussie dollars is first place. So any takers jump in. It could be worth while.
You dont even need to know the game. I post up every game of each week.
I will email members before i close the weeks tips.
Its 22 rounds X 8 games.

I would consider it but i don't even know the names of any AFL teams apart from the Lions

Dont need to. I post the round every week. I intend to post previous weeks victorys etc.
Often with AFL tipping people who know nothing end up winning. Sad but true lol.

Well you could go to http://www.afl.com.au/ and keep up to date and give a thought out pick.
But i assure you i have been into AFL for 36 years and have never won a footy tips contest yet.
I think the more you know the worse you do. I always back my team Hawthorn as im passionate.
Not real smart but you will find many loyal AFL viewers do same lol.

I 'barrack' for Richmond - if you can call it that, it's more just the team that I liked when I was like 5 years old and never changed my mind - and almost always tip against them.

I would do your thing, but I'd probably end up forgetting. So mainly this is just a post to say that I like your idea of forums, and that it's aimed at Australians (and the domain name ) and I'm really glad at how active it seems.
