I'm trying to change the image extension for the forum markers from .gif to .png. How would I do that?
You would have to edit the templates to use example.png instead of example.gif.
You could also use the template find and replace tool unless the image is defined in CSS in which case you would have to open the style sheet using the theme editor, find the image then change it there.
They're named in the index template and some of the forumbit templates. Using the template search and replace feature, search for 'lightbulb' and you'll find them.
