Where can i find the portal mod for mybb. sorry so being a little slow.

http://www.YourDomain.com/forums/portal.php

'portal.php' is located in your root forum directory, so just go to 'portal.php' instead of 'index.php'. That will show the portal on any MyBB forum that has the file on their server in the root directory.

No problem.

Go in the Admin CP > Find and click 'Change' under the 'Board Settings' menu > Click on "Portal Settings" > You will then see:

Forum ID to pull announcements from
Please enter the forum id (fid) of the forum you wish to pull the announcements from

And simply enter in the forum ID of the forum you want to pull news from in the textbox to the right, then click 'Submit Changes' at the bottom, all done.

Adds a Welcome Panel throughout the whole site....


This mod adds a Welcome Panel under the navigation bit that runs throughout the entire forum. The Welcome Panel includes:
- An "Avatar" box (that displays you current avatar)
- A "Your Information" box (that displays information about you and your account)
- A "Board Information" box (that displays information about the forum)
- A "Member Spotlight" box (that displays information about a random user at your forum)
- A "Latest" box (that displays the most recent Thread/Post/Poll)
There is 6 options in the Admin CP. You can turn the entire box on/off or each section on/off at will.

in my portal.php.
