My free host, emenace, told me these details:

PHP send mail is off and I', currently under PHP safe mode. Will that prevent me from connecting to an SMTP server? Because I already copied settings that I know will surely work but it didnt. BTW Im using Gmail as my mailer..

Anyone please feel free to suggest possible solutions. Thank you very much!

Is safe mode is on, they probably have SMTP connections off. Not sure why, but from what I've been told this is what some hosts do.

I don't know if safe mode is affecting the SMTP, but if your sure the settings are correct and it's still not working, we can only assume it does affect it.

You may need to move hosts...
