First off, I have no clue what happened to my username. I have returned to this site after a long absence and it sort of mutated/grew from "gauss" to "gauss_mybb1.2_import10364". And my post count dwindled significantly also.

Oh well, on to business:

I quickly put together this website using a combo of Wordpress and MyBB. I sorta fiddled with both so that they'd match up a little. So now I need first impressions. Is the Wordpress/MyBB combo believable as being one site (to my targeted audience, not you guys )? I understand that it is imperfect, but its a work in progress.

Feedback is appreciated.

On the subject of the name, is this not your normal account?? I'm sure an admin can merge the accounts for you

Yes, that's my account. But MyBB sent me emails over my absence period and my username mysteriously changed. I tried to reset my password for that account, but all it did was reset the password for the account I'm posting in.

I use that theme on one of my websites! good luck with it. That username is mad! =P

I PM'd an administrator about a week ago and no reply. But it's fine. It's just a user name.

As to the site, it seems that I am having trouble with the cookie settings, so I'm going to go ahead and ask away in that one really long thread in the General Support forum.

I would fix that picture at the top (header), it's expanded to much and looks horrible, try to find a bigger picture.

I agree. It looks horrendous. That was the only engine picture I had on my computer that showed internals at a relatively high resolution. Once it stops raining here, I will venture out to my barn to take more pictures and hopefully a better header image.
