Hello guys!

I wonder if you can help me with this really bizzare one!

Yesterday I removed the default smilies from my board by deleting them off my server and out of the ACP.
Then I installed many new ones from a different pack via the "Add Multiple Smilies" function.

I could see them in the ACP when I went to edit their names.
But now the actual smilie image is not visible in the ACP, or in the reply boxes.

But when I type in the shortcut to them, such as :grin or :boyscout or :bash they show in the post.

HELP!

What image path did you put when you imported them??

I am pretty sure it was /images/smilies

Is it a CHMOD or permission issue possibly?

Not sure is the / at the start would be an issue, quite sure images/smilies is fine. Probably wouldn't be a CHMOD setting unless you changed anything but double check that ./images/smilies is set to 755 and all the images are set to 644.

The CHMOD settings are as you suggested.
I can only try adding new smilies without the leading / and see how I go.

SOLVED!

It was the leading / that caused the problem!
I had installed multiple smilies using /images/smilies/ and this was wrong.

When I deleted them all, and installed them using images/smilies/ it worked!
