The legal system doesn't work like that. They dont contact you that way, they contact you via-certified letter getting your address from your webhost after they go through the legal steps...period.
Keep that post, prt scrn it and save/print it. If legal action does occur, you have impersonation evidence. It probably wont hold much in a court but you never know.
Best thing to do it nothing else. Ban bad members, tell them why in a polite and professional manner and then be done with them, period. It is that simple. If they continue to contact you, either ignore it or get their IP Address and contact the ISP.
