I recently merged from SMF and now in some posts i have these wierd symbols. See SS attached.
Edit: According to my users some post content has been lost.(Could this be caused by click redirect to quickly when importing posts?
You said it was too late, that you already had 50 posts in your new forum, already?
I'm pretty sure these issues would be resolved if you ran the SVN Snapshot (the MyBB 1.4 Version)
I did the SVN Snapshot merge and all the content was fine. Is it possible to copy all the new posts to the new merge?
Not sure how much work this would be, depending on the size of your forum, but if you delete all the old posts and only leave the new ones then you can run the merge system on that
It is a forum for a mothers group. Old topics may have new posts in them. Is there any other ways? Like if that post already exist leave it and add only new posts?
