Hi there,

I am currently running 1.2.3 (123).

My host is going out of business so I need to move the forum.

Can I install the lastest version of 1.4 in my new location and just upload my back up of my 1.2.3 data? Or do I need to do the upgrade on the old forum before I make the move?

1.2.3?? Woah, you've been vulnerable to security issues for a long time...

Yes, if you upload the backup to a database, upload the 1.4 files, and run the upgrade script, it should be fine.

You may need to go via 1.2.14 though. A few people have had issues coming from very early 1.2 versions to 1.4.
