I just want to ask if how could i remove the rating from user i mean how could change the permission that user could not rate their own threads.
Admin CP > Users and Groups > Groups > Pick your group to edit > Forums and Posts > Uncheck " Can rate threads?"
but wouldn't that disable rating for all threads ?
He is asking to disable the permissions from a certain group .

Though I believe the rating on forum display was broken... so why not remove it for everyone.

Disabling this feature that I pointed above will disable HIS / HER ratings altogether,
There is no need to disable or delete this feature from a certain file
If you only want to stop them rating their own threads, it needs a plugin.
Matt there is such a plugin ??
labrocca made one, quite sure it was free but can't find it now, I'll have a look.
