I just installed MyBB via. FTP. I zipped it and the site unpacked it all on. But now when I go to my site [http://www.kxprogramming.tk], it goes like:

Index of /

* Upload/

And when I click on Upload, I get this error:

MyBB
MyBB Internal Error

MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

Error Type:
    MyBB Error (40)
Error Message:
Your board has not yet been installed and configured. Please do so before attempting to browse it.

Please contact the MyBB Group for support.

Could you help? I tried re-uploading MyBB and everything, but I can't find the answer. I even tried deleting the install folder on FTP [another topic said to do that] but it didn't work and so I re-uploaded the folder again.

Help Please,
Thanks -- Ethan
Upload all the files, and then to ./install/, you can then install your forum.

Error says what it says. You have to install the forum. Go to ./install/ and go through the wizard. This is explained both in the Wiki ([Wiki: Installing] (Broken link, head over to docs.mybb.com instead)) and in the Documentation that comes with MyBB.

It's also recommended to move your files out of the Upload folder...
Well .tk is a cover - up, the regular one is http://www.kxprogramming.netau.net/

But when I try http://www.kxprogramming.netau.net/install, it says 404 not found?
OH! Nevermind, got it.

was at http://www.kxprogramming.netau.net/upload/install

Thank You! And I did look at the wiki:install but it never said to add a /install after the site name :/
Yes, it's http://www.kxprogramming.netau.net/Upload/install/ , you have you files in the Upload folder still...
Yea, well I can't delete the upload folder without deleting the contents. And I can't seem to .zip all the contents without having the upload folder, and I don't really want to upload everything manually..

Oh wait, nevermind, I just realised how to archive everything in winrar and upload without the folder..

Thanks Again!

With most FTP clients or file managers you can select all the files and folders and just move them, or you can just rename the Upload folder, but glad it's sorted.
