I tried to upload the MyBulletin Theme for 1.4, but it said it wasn't written for the version of MyBB...I uploaded the XML that read 'MyBulletin Theme'...how can I upload it so it works?

There's a box to ignore version compatinility, check that.

I did that..it totally wiped it out.

Err.. that should work. If the theme screwed up your forum after that you're not supposed to run it on your forums.

Also, it should be the XML-file you're trying to upload.

What do you mean 'wiped it out'?? o.O I'm quite sure all ticking that box does is ignore the compatibility setting...

How do I clear my cache?


I got it to work, but now it's just going crazy.

Make sure ./cache/ and ./cache/themes/ are CHMOD to 777, sounds like that may be an issue.

where would that be? it myt be wats causing my forum to sometimes show and sometimes not

They're folders that you uploaded when you installed MyBB, in your file manager/FTP.
