Apparently one of the largest threads on my forum was deleted today. I have a backup the database prior to the deletion. How do I retrieve the thread without having to restore the entire database? Members on my forum have made many posts since the backup. Thanks in advance.
Are you using Trash Can Plugin for your forum ??

Don't you think if he was he wouldn't be asking this? Jesus, can you just
not respond to a post instead of always spouting out some garbage response!? I'm really losing my patience with you!
Some more information about my forum:
Version: Latest Version 1.4.4
Thanks.
It is impossible to re vert your lost thread, after it is deleted without using the Trash Can Plugin,

That isn't true. He has a database backup. It can probably be retrieved.

I don't know the answer, so I didn't post except to reprimand you. Is that something you're capable of understanding; not posting a response to every question? I'm not the only one who's tired of reading your posts.
So why not just read the thread and go away without blaming anyone's reply ??
I am also going to tired from just YOU that you are against just ME through out the forum
If you are interested to get rid of me, so why not Just keep your mouth shut off
I am also going to tired from yours arguments

The OP is here for an answer to their question - currently both of you are helping him/her get further away from the answer. Please do not apologise in this thread after this. PM it to me if you wish.
To answer your question, I do not think there is a way to restore one single thread to your database. Unless there is something you could do via the posts table.. But I wouldn't know where to start really. Sorry.
I'm going to apologize not for my comments, but for assuming that it would be possible to retrieve it from the posts table. Evidently it may not be so easy.
