I set up a test board so I could test mods and themes without harming my real board. However, after installing and setting up the test board, my original board was overriden by the installation of the test board. What happened and is there a way to prevent that from happening in the future?
Did you install them in the same directory and use the same MySQL database?

If so, then that's probably why. Doing that is basically reinstalling the forum. The only way to avoid that (safetly) is to use a completely different directory on your server and a completely different MySQL database.

Sorry to hear about what happened. Sad
Oh! Oops! It's okay. I only had three things on the original anyways. Thanks for the information. ^_^
If you are only limited to one MySQL database, you can change the MySQL table prefix when you run the installer. That way, each board will have a different set of tables.
