Hi,

I have 1.4 installed and I wanted to know if there is a way to force users to re-login.

The ones that have remember me or whatever?

Either in the ACP or a more technical way, whatever is best..

Thanks,
Force re-logging in every time, or just once?

Reading the stickies usually helps.

Not relevant to my question, not a problem as such.

Just once, I want every user logged out so they have to re-login.
So you mean when they close the page/browser they get logged out so they have to login again on their next visit?

Yeah, but I only want to do it once. I want everybody to be logged out just one time so they have to re-login when they return.
In phpMyAdmin, empty the mybb_sessions table. (Note you press "Empty" and not "Drop"). If you aren't comfortable with phpMyAdmin I suggest taking a [wiki]Database Backup[/wiki] before proceeding Wink.

Edit: I don't think the above solution will work for "remember me" users. I think if you change the cookie prefix in the Admin CP settings that should force a relogin for everybody.
I just truncated the sessions table and everyone is still logged in. Don't think that method will work.
change the cookie prefix, which will invalidate all login cookies?

I think that is the only option to logout all members.
