make sure that in template > postbit that $post[useravatar]<br /> is there
also in postbit_avatar that <img src="$post[avatar]" border="0" alt="" /><div class="smalltext">$post[fid4]</div> is there
also make sure u haven't disable it from ur account options
User cp > edit option > show avatars

Check your options... under "Thread View Options", there should be something like this:
Display users' avatars in their posts.
Check the box next to that. If you want signatures to show to, check the one that says "Display users' signatures in their posts." That's how I got mine working... I don't understand why it isn't enabled by default

Actually if u had changed the settings of how many posts u want to see, [always under thread view option] u will have to tick the things above!!
leaving it untouched wont take it in considiration if it's checked or not !!
also thats what i was talking about in my 1st post

I have done all of the above but some avatars are showing and some are not how do i fix this

Make sure the link to your avatar folder is correct, under "General Settings"

yep that seems all corect and avatars are going onto the server
