Many games such as EQ and WoW use a point system to distribute loot at higher levels.

I would be excited to see a system where admins and the like can add or subtract points from a user, and have said points show up in their profile or a chart. The ability to have a tex box for the admin to type in the item the user got would be great along with this, allowing for a list to be shown.

If someone were to copy the member reputation feature and implement it as a game points thing instead, would that be what you are lookin for?

Prehaps. admins only would have to be able to add or suntract, and any amount they would like.

And the space to put the item in would be prefered, as well as having the DKP number show up in say... the member list

You know, I"d be quite happy with just the ability for moderators to be able to add and subtract * amount of points and have the end result show up in a nice table somewhere.
