Hey,

Anyone using myBB with Lighttpd rather than Apache? If yes, what about the SEF urls? As I know .htaccess doesn't works with lighttpd.
I always thought lighthttpd was an Apache-add-on?

Edit: It is very light weight as compared to Apache. I didn't believe it but now I see Apache is a really a resource hog

It does support url rewriting. However i'm not sure if it supports htaccess..
Can we use MyBB with lighttpd? I installed it however it due to incompatibility with .htaccess rewrite rules it returned 404 error.
Just don't use SEO url's if it's giving 404 errors.
Oh I really need SEO urls thats why I had no option other than installing Apache. I think staff should work on making MyBB compatible with all web-servers.
