I've installed all the mybb stuff in the right place but it comes up with the bellow error in the pic.

As the error says, you haven't installed it yet - or at least, it doesn't think it's installed.

Have you visited youforum/install/ to actually physically install the forum?

No I havnt physically installed it, i've only added all the files via ftp

It is telling you exactly what is wrong. You need to install your forum. To install it go to www.yoursite.com/forum/install , of course changing yoursite.com and forum to the correct things.

I put in my url: http://www.jaloko.byethost5.com/forum/install

I did but it comes up with this

http://phpnet.us/notify/1.php

You are using the FTP server as the database. This is not right. Try localhost or bytehost5.com instead.

is the database name my url?

If localhost and bytehost5.com didn't work you may as well try jaloko.byethost5.com.

If that doesn't work ask your host what the server hostname is.
