I have a site on a different server than the one I want to merge it into to. I read that I need to upload that site's database into a new one on the forum I want to merge it into. How do I do that?

In phpMyAdmin, create a new database, upload the backup to it, and give the details to this database in the merger.

Is this what you mean??
