Full Version: Admin CP - Edit user - SQL error

MyBB verson: 1.4.5

I get a error saying:
Quote:The forums has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1054 - Unknown column 'canmanageannounce' in 'field list'
Query:
UPDATE mybb_users SET canmanageannounce='0', canuseproeditor='0', canbanusers='0', canviewwarnlogs='0', canuseipsearch='0' WHERE uid='2'

Please contact the Administrator for support.


i get that error when i try to edit a user in side of the edit user panel.

but the user still updates, but i get that error. no idea what is worng.
Did you run the upgrade script OK?? Choose the right version?? Upload the right files??
yes i did, this was happing BEFORE i upgraded to mybb 1.4.5 i hoped the upgrade would fix it, but it didnt, i think it was a plugin named "extra moderator controls" or somthing, i removed the plugin, but it didnt fix anything

What version were you running right before this error started appearing?
Do you have this modification install or use to have it installed?

i have once used it yes, i had it installed, then i removed it.
Seems like it did not uninstall properly. I would suggest loading all the files for the modification again and then double check to see it shows as uninstalled in the admin cp. If it still shows as installed then click uninstall. You also could try installing it again and uninstalling it to see if it fixes the problem. I would make sure to make a copy of the database first.
