How can I get rid of the search bar above the Nav bar so I can have a full banner?

And also how do I add navbar links?

No idea about the search bar as that isn't default, but it's probably in the header template. Same for navbar links, probably header template.

I would use the search template functionality in the admin control panel if you can't find what you are looking for.
